Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is keen to speak with any available AHT Surveyors for a project In KSA as of March 2025. This job will be for approximately 60 days . Candidates must be in possession of the following:

  • Valid Passport
  • BOSIET/FOET
  • Medical Certificate
  • Starfix NG Experience

An Anchor Handling Tug (AHT) Surveyor plays a vital role in offshore operations, ensuring precise positioning and data acquisition during anchor handling and related marine activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Survey Planning and Execution: Develop and implement survey plans for anchor handling operations, ensuring accurate positioning of anchors and vessels.
  • Data Acquisition and Quality Control: Utilize hydrographic and geophysical survey equipment to collect data, maintaining high standards of quality control throughout operations.
  • Equipment Mobilization and Maintenance: Oversee the setup, testing, and maintenance of survey equipment on vessels to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaboration with Marine Teams: Work closely with marine crews to provide real-time positioning data, facilitating safe and efficient anchor handling and towing operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey activities, findings, and any anomalies encountered during operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Geomatics, Hydrographic Surveying, Geophysics, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Prior experience in offshore survey operations, particularly in anchor handling and towing, is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with modern survey equipment and software, including GPS systems, sonar technologies, and data processing tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions in dynamic offshore environments.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly.
