Our client have a requirement for a Survey Party Chief to assist with an alongside mobilisation and then actual operations offshore Azerbaijan.  The project will split into 2 phases.

1st phase (URF):
Subsea structure installation (LBL positioning)
Mattress installation
Crossing support installation
Counteract installation
Pre-lay survey

2nd phase (EPS):
Jacket installation
Topside installation

The successful candidate should have experience in using Eiva NaviPac/NaviScan and also Visualsoft and also hold the following certificates:

  •  Valid Passport
  •  Valid Offshore Medical
  •  Valid Seaman’s Book
  •  Full STCW essential (can be attained if candidate does not hold)


  • Leadership and supervision of multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure staff and systems are working in compliance with contractual requirements, project procedures and company QHSE policies/procedures to safely and effectively meet the scope of work
  • Verify that the work meets the project specification and that safety, the environment and third parties are not compromised or threatened
  • Identification and implementation of hazard identification and risk assessment control measures; ensure that risk measures are followed by company and third-party personnel
  • Implementation and administration of company health, safety and environmental documentation and procedures for both company and third-party personnel
  • Complete end-of-contract report in accordance with company procedures and/or client specifications
  • Manage mobilisation and demobilisation activities with due regard to safety of personnel
  • Listen to suggestions and recommendations from subordinates and recognise and act on useful contributions
  • Comprehensive review and understanding of the project procedures for each survey operation
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Client scope of work and Company operating procedures.
  • Effectively liaise with Client, company management, marine crew and other contractors onboard to ensure effective communication of information and efficient performance of duties
  • Briefing of colleagues and subordinates whenever necessary
