A new chapter begins for AGR
Since 2013, Advance Global Recruitment (AGR) has been successfully providing recruitment services to clients across the Middle East region. Up until now, this has been done through their Head Office in Edinburgh, Scotland, combined with regular trips to the region. As a result of continued revenue and market developments, AGR has taken the strategic decision to establish a permanent office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Opening an office in the UAE will enable AGR to directly service their existing clients in the Middle East region, and also provide the platform from which to win new business in what is currently one of the most important and active markets in the Energy industry. Having a permanent presence in the UAE, with its reputation for being a world-class transport hub, means that AGR will become geographically better placed to service existing and new clients not only in the Middle East region, but also those located further afield in the Asia Pacific region.
Mark Adams, currently based in AGR’s Head Office in Edinburgh, will be relocating to Dubai and will take up the position of Regional Manager, Middle East, effective 1st February 2020. Mark has been with the Business for 2 years and has established himself as one of AGR’s strongest consultants, demonstrating all the positive characteristics that AGR represents as a Company.
AGR’s new office will be in Gold Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, which is situated in the centre of Dubai. The local business will aim to service a wide range of sectors in the Energy industry, including, but not limited to Drilling, Well Servicing / Intervention Operations, Trenching & Plough, Shipyard & Shipbuilding, Survey & Inspection, ROV & Subsea, Offshore Construction and Marine & Deck Crew.

The new office is planned to officially open on Sunday 2nd February 2020, when Mark Adams, together with members of the Executive Management Team, will be on hand to oversee the beginning of this ambitious new chapter in the evolution of AGR.
