Offshore Construction Manager

Advance Global Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Offshore Construction Managers for a Renewable wind project offshore New Jersey, USA commencing mid 2024.

This is open to US Nationals or personnel holding a B1 OCS VISA.

Competence Requirements:

Marine/technical background, 3 – 5 years’ experience in offshore wind, including relevant lifting experience or training (i.e CPCS AP / Blue Card)

Main Duties

• Liaise with client, subcontractors, onboard-teams and owners agents
• Provide input to Engineering Department on optimising deck layouts and offshore work
• Coordination of activities with sub suppliers and interface with vessel crew and superintendent on planned activities onboard
• Receive, Review and sign subcontractors / lift teams DPRs
• Reporting of status updates to Project Manager and Site Manager / Port Captain
• Participation in HAZID / HAZOPS as required
• Provide solution focused input where progress is challenged
• Monitor and report operational performance and utilization including signing DPR issued by client

Subordinates: Lift team (externally supplied)
