Mechanical Technician

Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is keen to speak with any available Mechanical Technician for a project In Guyana. This job will be a permanent position. Candidates must be in possession of the following:

• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or local equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience desired with offshore experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Good experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring allotted maintenance and preservation work is carried out safely and efficiently and that the Mechanical Supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially where safety is an issue.

The Mechanical technician will exhibit exemplary safety and technical competence in all matters pertaining to mechanical maintenance and preservation works on and around the vessel.
