Electrical Technician

Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is keen to speak with any available Electrical Technicians for a project In Guyana. This job will be a permanent position. Candidates must be in possession of the following:

• Proven experience and qualified to ONC/ HNC, or NVQ Level 3 or recognized equivalent in Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred, with 2 years offshore petrochemical experience desired.
• Good knowledge of PTW, Electrical Isolation Standards, Risk Assessment, Power Management System, Generation on LV.
• COMP-EX Certified.
• HV/LV Protection Relay and HVLV Switching.

Job Description:

The Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring allotted maintenance and preservation work is carried out safely and efficiently and that the Electrical Supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially where safety is an issue.

The Electrical technician will exhibit exemplary safety and technical competence in all matters pertaining to electrical maintenance and preservation works on and around the vessel.
